I was climbing Quandary Peak in Colorado in late fall. I was on a non-standard north face route. The first snow of the year had just started to fall. I sat down to have a breather and enjoy the view when this mountain goat, walked out from the other side of the ridge. He did not see me and was munching on plants and poking around. He stepped up on this rock to have a look around and I felt like he was posing just for me.
