Chicken of the Woods
An example of the fungus Laetiporous gilbertsoniigrowing (known as Chicken of the Woods) on an old eucalyptus stump below 70A. According to my amateur mycologist friend (who IDed it) there are not bad eating unless you are among the 10% who become violently ill. My avowed policy is to never eat wild mushrooms.
