This winged friend and I contemplated each other for a while on a warm day in Georgia, both of us resting on the front steps of my house before going our separate ways. This was one of my first attempts at using my hand-me-down macro lens. I didn't then (and still don't) have a tripod, so luckily, my subject was very patient.
