Tiny Purple Flowers
I came across these tiny little flowers- about 1 centimeter across- in a state park in Indiana this month (Aug 2016). They were so delicate, and if you look closely there is a small "mini'flower" in each petal of the main flower. Incredible and intricate, these were the most interesting flowers I came across on the trip.
