Deadvlei, Namibia Mid-Morning
The dunes of Sossusvlei combined with the trees of Deadvlei (which have been dead for over 500 years) create a dramatic landscape. This was taken at about 11:00 AM local time. The landscape looks like a Salvador Dali painting (just add melted clocks).
