The Organ Mountains stand guard over the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico, home of my alma mater New Mexico State University.

Called Organ Mountains for their resemblance to the pipes of a church organ, what used to be dirt roads and a good place for college kids to go exploring in the desert has become a really lovely national monument.

(I chose not to clone out the one minuscule cloud that evaporated soon after)
