Okay, straight talk here: I had the ISO set way too high for such a bright day. In my attempt to salvage a shot I like, I worked with the grain and used a Nik filter to give it a bit of an old film look.

This looks like a lot of photos I used to take as a kid (growing up in New Mexico) with a flip flash camera. So now this photo makes me just a little homesick.

This was taken near Dripping Springs in the Organ Mountains National Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
