A rumbling nighttime thunderstorm over downtown Kansas City turned the sky purple for just a moment. I love rain with a light show, so I sat at the hotel window and watched it roll through.

This has very little post processing, I boosted contrast just a bit so details of the buildings were more visible. The rest is a combo of Mother Nature and how my camera picked up the sudden light burst.
