Shadow and Substance
Shadows on the floor of the chapel at the Loreta Monastery in Prague, which encloses a 1631 copy of the Virgin Mary's house that miraculously transported from Nazareth to Loreto Italy in 1278. I was attracted to the intersecting patterns of the marble tiles and the shadow of a nearby paned window.
